Do you offer the full Pagan/Spiritual handfasting ceremony?
Yes, the handfasting ceremony I offer will take place in a sacred circle, where I will take you and your beloved on a journey from North to West around the circle. At each compass point, we will visit one of the four elements of air, fire, water and earth. We end the ceremony in the west at the element of earth by carrying out the hand-tying ritual and at the end of the ceremony, you will be a handfasted couple.
Do you only offer the full Pagan/Spiritual handfasting ceremony?
No, I am also qualified to write and perform scripted wedding celebrations and commitment ceremonies. I am passionate about making sure you and your partner get the personal and unique ceremony that you deserve. I will get to know you so that I can create the right ceremony for you. Whether you know exactly what you want or have no idea where to start, I will be there to help guide you and will make sure on the day that you will have a joyful, fun and memorable wedding ceremony.
Do you travel outside Leicestershire?
Yes, I am happy to go wherever you need me to. There will be an additional charge for travel if it is very far from Leicestershire and where overnight accommodation is required but this will all be discussed and agreed with you. Is the ceremony legally binding?
No, as an independent celebrant I am not authorised to conduct legal ceremonies. You will need to contact your local registrar to sort out the legal side. Please see my website for more information on how to do this. As I am not bound by the legal restrictions that registrars are I can perform your personal ceremony at the venue of your choice and include what is important to you in the ceremony, like being able to write your own vows. It is possible to have a two by two legal ceremony that costs around £50 and then hold your personal and unique celebrant led wedding your way.
